LIGHTS:
before the junior year of my high school year, ive always lived in apartments, townhouses, etc. so during christmas time when i was a little girl it would be me and my mother and we would drive around different streets and look at the different decorations that each house will display. it ould be so beautiful, that snow would mean nothing just to top off the whole christmas feeling. so now not only do i still love it, but when i had the opportunity to for the 1st time in my life, put lights around my house, i felt like a 5 year old again. i cant wait to go back home and, if we still can, put lights around my house. and if we cant do that, then i cant wait to see the lights around my neighborhood.

this one os my favorite. every year it would be me and my dad, and we would go and pick and tree together. after we pick it and we bring it home where my mom had already prepared the spot for where the tree will be. once we put the tree in the house and got it situated, my mom would put in her "the temptations" christmas cd and play it while we decorate the tree. again it might seem boring, maybe you even do the same thing, but this type of tradition is what i love the most.

every year, someone in the family would host the christmas party and all of the family will come and have a ball. exacpt for my cousin for every christmas eve, she throws a party and when it hits midnight, all the kids will open one present. but on christmas day, it will be someone different and they wil host the party and thats when you get to see the whole family again and talk and catch up on stuff and so on and so forth. i guess i like this because.... well now that i think about it i dont know why. again i think it all has to do with the christmas spirit of the thing

i dont even have to say a whole lot. of even say 3 sentences. just know that I MISS REAL HOMECOOKED MEALS, and since my mom doesnt cook that much and since i havent been home since late august, you already know!!!
